This tile was adapted from a design for a book cover that Dard Hunter created during his time at Roycroft. We think it looks great with the Bellflower and the Little Journeys design also created during that period.

William Joseph Dard Hunter( 1883 - 1966 )was primarily devoted to the study of paper making. His designs for Roycroft community of East Aurora , New York , help to find the Arts and Craft movement in America. His art and design has been an ongoing inspiration to us.

actual tile size approximately 3 7/8 x 7 7/8. As each Motawi’s tile is crafted by hand , dimensions may vary slightly up to 1/16 of an inch.

Tiles are approximately 5/8 of an inch thick and have a notch in the back for hanging I’m framed.
